About
Luminhaus is a family retreat nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. The kit home is the first of architect Rocio Romero’s LV Homes to be purchased and assembled. The simple austerity of modern design meets the comfort of a cottage in the wooded refuge.
With its open design, the interior space feels like you are relaxing in a hardwood forest. Each season is unique with the natural play of sunlight and shadow. At night, one's eye moves to the interior walls, covered with paintings and sculpture-filled shevles. Luminhaus is an art gallery in the woods.
The property can serve as a base camp for adventurous day trips or as a self-contained idyllic getaway. There are trails to explore that meander throughout the six acres. Children (and adults) enjoy playing in the Birdhaus playhouse and having picnics on the deck that juts out of the hillside. The kitchen is fully equipped and perfect for people who love to cook.
Whether your interests include nature, hiking, art, architecture, cooking or just spending time with family and friends, Luminhaus is a wonderful place to experience. Please contact us if you would like to experience Luminhaus first-hand.
